More People Using Yahoo Mail Than Gmail in 2007...

Interesting thing to see some stats on Techcrunch.com

Clearly Gmail is going to be the winner because of its easy,fast,powerful & nice interface. I used to use Yahoo for almost 6-7 years an when I start using Gmail, it was instant realization that Google Enginners have done excellent job at Email Management. Many USA universities are adopting Google for its Email infrastructure and that shows that whatever Google is doing, people are going to adopt very easily.

Just for a small update: We are working on Google Partner Edition of Email Management and developing Email Tracking & Billing Solutions for Lawyers in USA. LawMail.org site is still not updated yet, but in 2008 its going to be a BIG blast. We have an online site available called - WhenTheyReadIT.com since last 3 years and based on that we are building up the new solutions. Hopefully, it will fetch us some money :)

Pain of seeing your child dying infront of you...

Its really paiful to see our child dying in front of our eye. Isn't it? I think same happens when you are a start-up company & you have to shut down your company because of any reasons.

Recently, I read that Edgeio is going for deadpool. Its interesting to read the Blog post at Techcrunch. (FYI, http://www.TechCrunch.com is one of my most favorite & useful sites for Tech news).

Perl on Rails? Something New at BBC

Today- Dec.2,2007 I read interesting article about "Perl on Rails".

Basically the article is related to software engineering happening/happened at BBC. Its interesting to know that they are using Ruby on Rails already and implemented similar MVC framework using Perl language.

I started my professional career with Perl language first, so I have some inclination for Perl language, and recently fall in love with ruby on rails. I wish BBC make it open source and let everyone use it.

Just a small note: One the best thing about frameworks(CakePHP or Rails or any other) - they provide Cool Good URLs which is very important feature of any Web 2.0 applications.
